Reply:The most obvious answer to this question would be "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"!


This looks like a form of scam called phishing, and is designed to catch the unwary and gullible. They want to steal your personal information as well as your money. Chances are, in order to get the stated winnings you'll have to provide personal banking information, perhaps make a deposit to receive funds, or pay for some part of the process so you can receive funds.


Check with Microsoft yourself, and do not respond to the email message itself. If they verify the above message, let me be the first to congratulate you! (and hope you'll be kind and remember me for answering your question ;-)
