Most HTML editors have a site management feature where they connect to the site using FTP (username/password access needed), and change the site in a live mode sort to speak..

A very interesting free HTML editor that i found lately is Kompozer, i am using it instead of dreamweaver now.. You should try it:

Hope this helps %26amp; good luck,
Reply:Give them FTP access so they can download their web files, Edit them, then re-upload them using an FTP client.
Reply:They will need to have an editor installed, they will need to know how to use it, then they will need to know how to FTP it to your server. If you wrote the site, you would have known all these things anyway.
Reply:You can edit any website from any PC - if you have the login and password. Type ftp:// followed by the name of your site and it will ask for your log in and password. Use ftp:// in place of http://
Reply:You can use a software package called Contribute - I think the latest version was 3 last time I check and it was made by Macromedia (now taken over by Adobe).

Installing Contribute on the clients PC will allow them to connect to there site via ftp (you can limit the folders/files they can edit) and then they can simply edit and upload at the click of a button. It's a very friendly program with a WYSIWYG editor.

Alternatively, you can use PHP and make your own online editor to let them edit their site.
Reply:You can use Dreamweaver for editing... it provides FTP also...

For cheapest webhosting plans, do contact http://www.kohlihosting.com/ or mail at sales@kohlihosting.com
Reply:This uses a username/password system if they don't know the username or password then they can't change anything on the site.
