Does this hurt Searh Engine Optimization?

We have three different websites. All of them have their main domain name and then multiple other domain names that also point to them. We want to get a web host that we can have all the sites on one account with multiple paths. (Different folders, and each folder is a different domain name.) Does anyone know how this effects search engines? Is it good or bad - or does it even matter at all?
Does this hurt Searh Engine Optimization?
It makes no difference to the search engine where the web site is hosted. ... even a bunch of web sites owned by the same person.

Each page in a web site can have meta tags and copy that make it easy for the search engine BOT to find the site.

What will matter is the reliability of the web hosting company. If all your sites are hosted on one server and that server has a problem, all your sites may be vulnerable.
