I get lot of those spams too, there is no way you can stop them using a free email service. All you can do is report every single one of them you see in inbox as spam. Those spam use different email address each time, so it will come to your inbox again.

nothing. you can get spam blocker software if you want. The one thing you never want to do is hit unsubscribe or reply asking them to stop. All that does is confirm your email address to them.
Reply:Stop giving out your email address to every web site that ask first off. Second now that it's out there you probably need to change it and don't give it away this time.

Turn on any SPAM tools at your ISP (contact them about this).

Do not click any "take me off this list" links in emails.

Do not sign up for newsletters using your primary address.

Do not turn on "Out of Office"

Do not use your real email address for websites unless required.

Setup a free email account somwhere for use on web sites and otehr places where you need to give away an address.

I run my own servers so I create an email address for each service I have to sign up for, yahooanswers@suchandsuch.com so then if I start getting SPAM at that address I know who let it out and I can just turn it off and redirect the site to a new one or just stop using their services.
Reply:If it is a pop-up use Google toolbar and use the popup blocker. If its e-mail unsubscribe or put it on your ignore list
Reply:I use my " delete " button. Poof it is GONE.
